Naming Your Resume

When selecting a name or title for your resume, choose wisely.  Employers have the ability to search applicants by resume title as well as keyword.  Be specific versus general in titling your resume and include more than your name.  For example, if you hold both Biology and secondary special education licensures, be sure to include both areas in your title.  An example would be Jane Doe’s Biology and 6-12 Adaptive Special Education Resume.  The KEEB site has a 150-character limit for resume titles, which provides more than adequate space for specific resume titles.
