FAQ - What do the status selections of positions mean?

What do the status selections of positions mean?

a) FILLED - the position has been filled.

b) FILLED with KEEB - the position has been filled with an applicant found on KEEB.

c) OPEN - the position is open.  The position is currently not filled and the employer is accepting applications.  This selection is used often for anticipated openings or for openings available year round.

d) EXPIRED - the employer’s posting for the position has expired.  The employer is no longer accepting applications for the position.

e) PENDING - the position has been offered and is pending contract approval of the candidate and/or school district.
